Skill Development

Picasso Social and Educational Society has been actively promoting skill development and livelihood opportunities, especially for women and youth. With support from government organisations, the Society has conducted a six-month course in cutting and tailoring, along with training in typing and awareness on population control methods. The Adult Education Centre has hosted computer training camps, and soft toy-making workshops have also been organised. These initiatives aim to equip individuals with practical skills for sustainable livelihoods.

Women’s self-help groups have been trained in preparing jam, jelly, sauce, murabba and ginger chutney. These income-generating activities have helped improve the economic and social status of their families. The Society remains committed to expanding such educational and developmental training programmes in collaboration with both government and non-government organisations, ensuring long-term empowerment and community upliftment.
